About the Photographer

image

photographer divingI have always loved the water, but diving into the inky depths with a small air supply strapped on my back was not a huge appeal initially.

The thought of venturing into an airless, cold, dark environment where you are one of the lowest creatures on the food chain seemed unimaginable.

In 2005 I experienced the world beneath the waves for the first time. I was forever hooked. I could not believe what I was seeing. I became compelled to capture these scenes with a camera to show to my non-diving friends what they were missing.

Now I wish to bring this astounding underwater world to the surface for the rest of the world to see.

My underwater photography has been awarded 1st and 2nd place spots in international photo contests, published in books, dive magazines, and in National Geographic online publications.
